The Shropshire Parks & Gardens Trust is a registered charity founded in 1997. It works to protect historic gardens throughout Shropshire and influence public awareness and appreciation of the county's parks and gardens heritage.
The Shropshire Parks & Gardens Trust provides opportunities to learn about the history, design and development of gardens. The Shropshire Parks & Gardens Trust publishes a newsletter twice a year as well as running a series of lectures during the winter months and arranges visits to gardens, not normally open to the public, during the summer months.
The Shropshire Parks & Gardens Trust is part of The Gardens Trust a national organisation representing 32 County Gardens Trusts actively engaged in conserving, researching, documenting and caring for our heritage of parks, gardens and designed landscapes.
