The Shropshire Parks and Gardens Trust was formed in 1997. It works to protect historic gardens throughout Shropshire and influence public awareness and appreciation of Shropshire's parks and gardens heritage. Shropshire Parks and Gardens Trust is a member of The Gardens Trust.
Parks and gardens can be works of art. They may be of special historic, horticultural, architectural, scientific or scenic interest. Shropshire's Parks and Gardens give much pleasure, are of great value to the community, and help to conserve Shropshire's wildlife and biodiversity.
Shropshire Parks & Gardens Trust has a vital role in protecting the county's rich heritage of parks & gardens from inappropriate development and neglect
Volunteer for our research and recording programme to find out more about Shropshire's gardens so that they can be conserved for the future
