Weston Park - Capability Brown Walks

To celebrate the 300th Anniversary of the birth of Capability Brown, Martin Gee Head Gardener at Weston Park will lead guided walks across the estate to reveal Brown's legacy in all its glory.

Tracey Whitehead is undertaking research into walled kitchen gardens as part of a BSc in Land Management at Moulton College in Northamptonshire and would like to hear from custodians of walled kitchen gardens.

Darwin's Childhood Garden Study Day

This unique study day provides a rare opportunity to discover and draw inspiration from Charles Darwin's Childhood Garden in Shrewsbury. Organised by University Centre Shrewsbury and Shropshire Wildlife Trust it will take place in Shrewsbury on Tuesday 22nd March 2016 from 09-30am - 4.30pm.

Shropshire Parks & Gardens AGM

SPGT AGM will be held on 17th March at 6.30pm at Shropshire Wildlife Trust Headquarters in Shrewsbury. It is open to all. The AGM will be followed by light refreshments and at 7.30pm there will be a talk by Tom Wall about Moccas Park.

Talk: Creating Telford's Green Environment

A talk with illustrations by David Wassell MBE. David was the Chief Landscape Architect for the Telford Development Corporation. The talk will be held in Wellington Library on Tuesday 1st March from 2.30-3.30pm.
