WINTER PROGRAMME 2017-18
All lectures will be held at Shropshire Wildlife Trust Headquarters, 193 Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury SY2 6AH and will commence at 7.30pm. Lectures are preceded by tea, coffee and biscuits. Free evening parking is currently available in the adjacent Abbey Foregate car park.. Guests are welcome to join any of the lectures - tickets £5 at the door.

Guild of Aviation Artists Exhibition
The Guild of Aviation Artists was formed in 1971 and is recognised throughout the world for the promotion of aviation art. The paintings on display in the Art Gallery have been specially selected to demonstrate the variety and scope of members’ work. They represent 100 years of the Royal Air Force in its centenary year. The paintings on display are all for sale and the RAF Museum receives a commission from sales.

The Eckford Sweet Pea Society's 30th Annual Show
Come along and visit when Wem hosts one of the largest Sweet Pea Shows in Britain. Blooms of both Victorian and Modern varieties on Display with lots more to do in and around this Friendly Market Town. ONLY Disabled parking at Venue. Under cover with wheelchair access to all areas including refreshments.

Cosford Food Festival
A tasty line-up of over 90 local producers will be heading to this year’s Cosford Food Festival. Taking place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July, it promises to serve up the very best food and drink the Midland’s has to offer. Festival line-up: • Over 90 local producers of the finest artisan food and drink • Learn from top chefs during our cooking demonstrations • Live music including performances from the Military Wives Choir • Kids cookery classes, face painting, circus skills and a STEM play bus.
