Thursday, 20th March 2008: AGM at 6.30pm followed by 'The Walled Kitchen Garden' by Fiona Grant. 7.30pm Shire Hall, Shrewsbury.
Saturday 29th March 2008: Visit to Condover House, Condover, nr. Shrewsbury An exploration of the little-known gardens of this important Elizabethan house. 2pm.
May 2008
Saturday 10th May 2008: Visit to Hewell Grange, Worcestershire (morning visit) Late nineteenth-century house, now an open prison. Surrounded by Grade 2* gardens recently restored. 2pm.
June 2008
Friday 20th June 2008: Visit to Summer Party at Preen Manor, Church Preen, nr. Church Stretton by kind invitation of Mrs Ann Trevor-Jones. 2pm.
July 2008
Friday 11th July 2008: Visit to Brownhill House Garden, Ruyton XI Towns (evening visit) Picnic in SPGT members, Yolande & Roger Brown's hillside garden. 2pm.
August 2008
Saturday 16th August 2008: Visit to August Oteley, Ellesmere Overlooking the mere and probably Shropshire's best surviving nineteenth-century gardens. 2pm
September 2008
Saturday 6 September 2008: Visit to Orleton,Wrockwardine, nr. Wellington Extensive grounds and active walled kitchen garden with attractive eighteenth-century chinoiserie summerhouse. 2pm.
October 2008
Thursday 16th October 2008: Talk 'A Day with Beth Chatto' Michael Leech. 7.30pm Shire Hall, Shrewsbury.
